Delivering Responsible Vegetation Clearance Through Ecological Collaboration

In January, our team delivered a comprehensive vegetation clearance service for one of our major clients, supporting early-stage preparation of a development area within their land. The project involved the careful removal of buddleia trees and brambles across the designated site—work that required not only specialist equipment, but thoughtful environmental consideration

Rather than approaching the clearance as a simple “cut and remove” task, we prioritised doing things the right way. Our team worked closely with local ecologists to identify any potential environmental constraints before beginning the work. This collaboration ensured that all activities were planned and carried out in full compliance with relevant ecological standards and regulations, protecting both the site and the surrounding habitats.

To further support local wildlife, stretches of vegetation along existing ditches were intentionally retained. These areas serve as valuable habitat corridors, helping maintain ecological continuity throughout the year.

The project was delivered to the required standards, and we’re pleased that our client was extremely satisfied with the results. We’re proud to have provided a service that not only met operational needs but also upheld strong environmental responsibility.

Big News from our team!

Big news from our team – Chip has been promoted to Director of Operations!

After nine years of dedicated service, Chip’s journey with us has been one of consistent leadership, integrity, and impact. From day one, he’s brought a hands-on approach, an eye for detail, and an unwavering commitment to doing things the right way — values that have become part of our DNA.

A few words from our Managing Director, Raymond Brandon:

“As we mark this exciting milestone, we celebrate not only Chip’s well-earned promotion but the culture of growth and trust he’s helped foster. His journey is a reflection of our belief in investing in people and promoting from within. We couldn’t be prouder — or more excited about what lies ahead.”

Looking ahead
In his new role as Director of Operations, Chip will lead our operational strategy across the board — driving efficiency, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and overseeing systems that support safety, quality, and sustainability at every level of the business. He’ll serve as our key contact for all things HSQE and IMS, guide risk assessments and audits, and provide leadership on compliance challenges as we continue to grow.

We’re confident that under Chip’s direction, our operations will become even stronger, more agile, and better positioned for long-term success.

Please join us in congratulating Chip on this exciting new chapter!
